During the late Summer of 2019, Paula and Tim decided to take a leap of faith, which in turn, took them to take to the next exciting stage of their lives.

Both had been looking for their perfect match, someone to fulfill their lonely hearts; a second chance at love.

Paula & Tim were both members of the online dating website E-Harmony, but neither were not too motivated or impressed with the options they came across.

As Paula was about to cancel her membership with the site, she was encouraged to get out of her comfort zone and consider expanding her geographical search criteria, which could be done through a feature on the website called “What if”.

"What if" she could find someone who would be her 100% match, but lived somewhere outside the state of Florida?

Well, she did it - and just like that Tim popped up on her screen with a beautiful and charming smile.

She felt goosebumps and sent him a smile of her own, not realizing though that he lived just a few 960 miles away, in York, Pennsylvania!

The distance did not seem to be an issue for either one of them as Tim responded right away, and for a month following they spoke for hours over the phone every day. He made her laugh and his calls were the highlight of her day.
Tim could not wait to meet Paula in person.

They had so much in common: their love and devotion for their kids, their passion for dogs, travel, music, and how much they believed in second chances.

On September 13th, 2019, they finally met in person! On a beautiful sunny day in Boca Raton, Florida, near Paula’s home, they already believed that this was the beginning of a ever lasting love story.

After three wonderful years together, on a bright starry night under the moonlight by the lake (and totally unexpected) Tim took a knee and proposed to Paula. She was so surprised that it took her a few seconds to say “YES”.
